Karin Ingold is a professor at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Bern. Her research focuses on political decision-making processes relating to climate change, water quality and the energy transition. She applies methods of network and discourse analysis and also seeks to make a concrete contribution to policy implementation through her research. Karin Ingold heads a research group at Eawag, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, and has been president of Proclim at the Swiss Academy of Sciences SCNAT for four years.
